FAQs about Writing SOS Editing and Writing ServiceQ. Why should I choose your service?
A. When I began my business, I read dozens of copyediting web sites. Many are run by people who’ve been in business for years, successful copy editors. Some of those people, though, don’t write clearly and carefully. Their sites are confusing, complex.
Read several of the sites and narrow your choices to those that impress you with their clarity and grace. Then contact the owners and choose the one you feel will do the best job of editing your document.
I think it will be me. I have the background and skills you want. I’ve written books on writing and grammar, including two successful textbooks: The Writer’s Options and Doing Grammar.
When my publisher asked a recent reviewer why he chose my grammar book, he said, “I was looking for a text that would make the study of English grammar simple and clear without oversimplifying the material. Morenberg’s text lives up to those expectations better than any grammar [text] I have ever seen. It’s a student favorite, also.”
Some make copy editing complex and confusing. I make grammar simple and clear. I can do the same with your tex t. That’s why I think you’ll choose me to edit your document.
